Giftify can be installed either from the Shopify App Store or directly through the Shopify admin. If you manage multiple stores under one account, use the Shopify admin to make sure the app installs on the right store.
Starting the installation via the Shopify Backend #
On the Shopify backend homepage select Apps on the left navigation bar.
In the search bar at the top, type “Giftify” and select it from the Shopify App Store results.
A new Shopify App Store tab will open. Select “Giftify” and click Install.
Starting the installation via the App Store #
This method is faster, but if your account manages multiple stores, double-check that Giftify is installed on the right one.
Access the Giftify app page via this link: https://apps.shopify.com/giftify-2
Click the Install button to Install Giftify
If you’re not logged in, a login button will appear. Log in first before installing Giftify.
In that case, log in to the Shopify account connected to the store where you want to install Giftify.
After clicking Install or logging in, a popup will appear if your account has multiple stores. Choose the store where you want to install Giftify.
Installing Giftify and Accepting Terms #
After following either method, you’ll return to the Shopify admin to start the installation.
Here, Giftify will show the permissions it needs, such as accessing customer data to send gift messages and managing gift cards.
Accessing Giftify After Installation #
Go to the Shopify admin homepage and click Apps in the left-hand menu.
In the top search bar, type “Giftify” and select it from the results.
